Position Overview:
The Television Promotions Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of television promotional activities within the broadcasting department. This role involves developing and executing strategic promotional campaigns to drive audience engagement and increase brand awareness. The Promotions Director collaborates closely with the marketing team, creative services, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the success of television promotions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive television promotional strategies to effectively market and promote television programs.
2. Generate engaging and compelling on-air promotions, utilizing creative storytelling techniques, to attract and retain viewers.
3. Collaborate with creative services team to develop visually appealing and impactful promotional materials, including promos, trailers, and teasers.
4. Plan, coordinate, and execute promotional events, contests, and special programs to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement.
5. Research and analyze target audience preferences and behaviors to identify new promotional opportunities.
6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of television promotions through various metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize future campaigns.
7. Oversee the creation and management of promotional budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
8. Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including talent, producers, and media partners.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify innovative promotional strategies.
10. Provide leadership and guidance to the promotions team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
